> SocksNode sells proxies paid by the GB (rotating residential, datacenter and mobile) and IPs you hold (4G/5G mobile ports by the day, 24-hour residential IPs, long-term residential and mobile IPs, static datacenter and ISP IPs). One prepaid balance pays for all of them, bandwidth bought by the GB never expires, and there is no subscription.

## Overview
SocksNode is one prepaid account for several kinds of proxy. Rotating proxies (residential, datacenter and, where live, mobile) are paid by the GB: you buy bandwidth, generate HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5 credentials with country, state, city and ASN/ISP targeting, and only the traffic that passes through them is counted. Generating credentials is free and the bandwidth never expires. IP products (4G/5G ports, 24-hour residential IPs, long-term IPs, static datacenter and ISP IPs) are priced per IP or per day. Full prices for every product are listed below.

## Protocols

## Rotating residential proxies (by the GB)
Real home IPs in 195+ countries from several pools (Pool 1, Pool 2, Pool 3, or a Mix of them), over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. Target a country, state, city or ISP (ASN); a new IP on every request, or keep one IP from 1 minute up to 24 hours. The price per GB falls as the order grows, and every GB bought never expires. ## 24-hour residential IPs
Pick real home IPs yourself (by country, state, city or ISP) and keep each one for 24 hours: $0.09 per IP, unlimited bandwidth, SOCKS5 and HTTP on the same port. The shop shows a fresh selection every 2 minutes from a pool of over 46 million home IPs.
- Each IP is a real home device: it can go offline before its 24 hours if the device is switched off, and that is not refunded.
- An IP that does not work within 10 minutes of purchase is refunded.

## Long-term residential and mobile IPs (IP Vault)
Pick a specific US residential or mobile IP from over 5 million and pay once (from $0.20 per IP) to keep it: no expiry and no time-based billing.
- Bandwidth: each IP you buy adds 200 MB to one shared pool across all your IPs; when the pool runs out you buy more at $1.00/GB, and it never expires.
- Online and offline: every address is a real home or phone device. When that device is switched off or disconnected the IP goes offline, and it comes back online when the device does. About 30% of addresses go offline for good.
- Free change: you can swap any address for another one in the same state, free, at any time — the way to replace an IP that stays offline.
- Recommendation: buy several IPs — 2 to 3 for each account you log into — so one is almost always online, instead of waiting for an offline IP to come back.
- Refund: an IP that is not online within 15 minutes of purchase is refunded on request, once we confirm it is dead.
- Shared or private: a shared IP may also be sold to other customers; a private IP is removed from the shelf.

## For developers and AI agents
There is no MCP server; any agent that can send HTTP requests can use the REST API directly.

## Frequently asked questions
### What is a residential proxy?
A residential proxy routes your connection through an IP address assigned by an internet service provider to a real household device, so websites see a regular consumer connection rather than a datacenter IP. Businesses use them for tasks like price monitoring, ad verification and market research.

### Does bandwidth expire?
Flexible plans are non-expiring: bandwidth stays in your account until you use it. Some promotional or subscription plans may be monthly — the expiry type is always shown on the plan.

### Do you support SOCKS5?
Yes. Every credential can be generated for HTTPS or SOCKS5.

### Do you support sticky sessions?
Yes. Sticky sessions hold the same IP from 1 minute up to 24 hours. Rotating sessions change IP on each request.

### Can I target a specific country, state or city?
Yes. Target 195+ countries when generating credentials; the United States is targetable down to the state and city level. You can also target a specific ASN/ISP within a country.

### What is the smallest amount I can buy?
5 GB for $4.50 — that's the point of SocksNode: a small first order rather than a contract, and you can top up any time.

### What usage is not allowed?
Anything illegal or abusive: spam, credential stuffing, payment fraud, phishing, malware distribution, attacks on networks, harassment, or unauthorized access. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list. Accounts violating it are suspended.

## Where the IPs come from
Residential addresses come from consent-based participation — every address in the pool is there because its owner opted in. SocksNode does not source exit nodes from malware, compromised devices, or any botnet, and does not bundle an SDK into unrelated apps to harvest connections.

Mobile (4G/5G) is a different product, not a filtered slice of the residential pool: each rental is a PORT on a real carrier-connected modem — one live mobile IP per port at a time, which the customer can rotate on demand, with country, state and carrier switching. It is not peer-to-peer, and it is not residential traffic relabelled by mobile ASN.

Governance: a published acceptable use policy enforced with active monitoring, suspension of abusive accounts, identity checks triggered by abuse signals, and collection of only the data needed to run the service.

## Prohibited use
Use must comply with applicable law, the terms of the websites accessed, and the SocksNode Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited activity includes spam, credential stuffing, payment fraud, phishing, malware distribution, network attacks, harassment, and any unauthorized access. Accounts that violate the policy are suspended.
